      On March 24, 2022, under the guidance of the Automotive Engineering Society of China, the Electromagnetic Compatibility Branch held a CSAE automotive electromagnetic compatibility standard project approval review meeting. The review team composed of CSAE automotive electromagnetic compatibility expert group members made a review of the technical specifications for electromagnetic compatibility risk assessment of automotive parts, electromagnetic compatibility testing methods and requirements of on-board wireless electronic technology Three group standard items in the Evaluation Method for Electromagnetic Radiation Performance of Complete Vehicles, which was applied by Great Wall Motors Co., Ltd., were reviewed.
     The meeting was presided over by Liu Yuan, secretary-general of the electromagnetic compatibility branch and vice president of the testing branch of Shanghai Electric Research Institute, Review team (The review team is composed of Zheng Junqi, vice president of Shanghai Electric Appliance Research Institute, Zhang Jun, deputy director of the electronics institute of Shanghai Motor Vehicle Testing and Certification Technology Research Center, Liu Xinliang, technical manager of the electromagnetic compatibility center of SAIC Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd., Du Jiasheng, electrical design director engineer of the Jianghuai Automobile Technology Center, Li Xu, professor level senior engineer of Chongqing Qingyan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., and the laboratory leader of Beijing Changying Hengrong Electromagnetic Technology Co., Ltd Ren Gao Xinjie, Academician Xi of Chery Automobile, Lu Xiaorong of Stellantis Group, and Zou Aihua of Pan Asia Automotive Technology Center.) After listening to the project initiation demonstration report made by the applicant, and conducting inquiry and discussion, the experts unanimously suggested that three standard projects could be included in the standard project development plan after modification. After the meeting, three CSAE standards were revised according to expert opinions and submitted to the Society of Automotive Engineering of China for formal approval.
